So Long, Bloggy

Hell-o jell-o! Sorry for neglecting you for so long, bloggy :-] Well it seems that this would be my last post for the next... umm... I don't know, 5 months probably? 'cause I'm now on  the 12th grade, yeah, friggin' 12th grade x_x things are a little bit out of hand sometimes, I'm not that good at time management :-( just wish that the next time I blog, it'll be happy news.  By the way, I'm at home right now, only because my abdominal typhus is coming back :" But I guess the good side is I can really rest. All this time, my schedule have been hectic. Even though I only attend one tutoring institution or bimbingan belajar. Haha and all this time people always asking "Mir did you attend any other tutoring institution beside BT*, like, Int**? Do you hire a private tutor?" noo, for the record, people, no. Couldn't imagine how beaten-up I'll be if I do. And beside, it's not like I could ask my mom extra money for those 'extras'.
Enough talkin' about school. Lately I'm experimenting with watercolor, which is soooo much harder than oil color. But what I like about it, is that it's far cheaper than painting with oil color on canvas. And, to make it even cheaper, I used regular paper (-_-)v *cheapskate FTW*. I'm much more of a (trying-to-be) realist, but it was a lot of fun doing fantasy stuff since I'm always a fan of fairytales :D

Oh, one more thing before saying goodbye, check this out :

she's my gorgeous second cousin, she's so inspiring :') and she's getting engaged next week. Be sure to check out her blog! so, that was it. Bye for noww

dear mr. ice-cube

You know what?
You're like an ice cube; cold-hearted, hard-headed, and tastes bland.
Me? I'm more of an ice cream. Cold (sometimes), soft-headed, but whenever you make me melt... I'll be sweet to you.

Dear Mr. Ice-Cube, I just can't figure you out.

♥ These Women

She is fabulous! An awesome chef AND fantastic photographer. That's like, two dream jobs at one!

Nigella Lawson
I think I don't need to explain who Lawson is to those who love to watch TLC or AFC. But what most of her viewers don't know is, Nigella Lawson came a long way before becoming a domestic goddess she is now. She was born to a perfect family, but her parents' divorce had led her to a troubled childhood, and by the time she was 41, she already lost her mother, sister, and husband to cancer. Beautiful, a great cook, and a survivor :-)

Ellen von Unwerth
One of the few leading ladies of fashion photography. I admire her 'fairytale' touch that she brings to almost all of her photographs.

Sofia Coppola
I'm pretty sure you ever watched (or at least, heard of) the likes of Marie Antoinette (2006), The Virgin Suicides (1999), and Lost in Translations (2003), meet the woman who was the writer, director, and producer of those films! Coppola came from a famous family, but she made a name on her own when she became the first American woman ever to be nominated for an Academy Award for directing. She has won an Oscar for best original screenplay for Lost in Translations (2003). She makes me want to be a film-maker every time I think of her. Although I love all of her movies, my personal favorite gotta be the Miss Dior Chérie commercial she did for Christian Dior, starring Maryna Linchuk. The perfect city, perfect clothes, perfect scenery... oh well, a girl could dream, couldn't she ;p

What do I want to be?

I had a hard time filling out People Who Inspire You on facebook. Truth is, there are too many people who made an impact on me. Then when I was about to blog something, I saw on the reading list, my friend Rhesa's post, titled "Future/Hope/Dream Lies Ahead!". I started thinking, "What is my dream? What do I want to be?" 'cause it's constantly keeps changing.
When I was in the 9th grade, I wanted to be either a surgeon or a geneticist. I'm sort of secretly fascinated with the human genome, 'cause in my child-like, shallow little mind, DNA is the secret to the universe. When I was in 10th grade, I wanted to become an engineer in food technology. If you knew me, you wouldn't ask why ;p
And in 11th grade, now, my parents say that I should be a doctor. Because my dad's sisters and their husbands, who are mostly doctors, said that I think like one. IDK how much of that is true... maybe they said it just to make me happy.
Nevertheless, I just want to share some of the women who inspired me. The first woman who inspired me is my own mother of course! I'd be so lucky if I can be even only 1/10 of her :')

Mind you, this was originally gonna be a loong post. And I hate long post, so I decided to 'dedicate' another post for them only...

March Already?

God... there were so many things happened last month at my school. TOO MANY. I feel sad every time I think about one of the things that happened. I'll never never ever forget February 2011. So many changes in one month. So many people's lives are never gonna be the same. And here I am, just a small part of it, but couldn't hold back my tears.
February has ended, now come March. The name of March comes from ancient Rome, named Martius after Mars, the Roman god of war. Maybe this is a sign from God, that we have to be strong in this 'war', keep our heads held up high, shoulders back, be tougher than ever, and leave February behind. May this month brings a lot of joyful spirit and happiness to us, Amen.

New Theme, 'cause It's 2011

the title pretty much says everything ;-) I guess I'm :
1)  bored with my previous theme
2)  and, I want a very personalized template so there are NO TWO ALIKE in this world
besides, my new theme really reflects my personality -and individuality of course-

*just in case I forget how this blog used to look like*
