Thought

"To always trying to please your parents is different from to always trying to seek their blessings"

Can't agree more. But sometimes they really paid off, all the small things and the little efforts that you do, when you see your mama and papa ☺

Eid Mubarak 1434H

"Family is one of God's greatest gifts to man"
Couldn't be more true. It's day three of Lebaran, one of the most anticipated holiday in my country. We've visited my aunts in another city (very, very fun round trip by car), watched movies in our living room with my uncles aunts and cousins after we each catch up with each others, and tomorrow we're visiting even more relatives.
I've eaten everything from rendang opor ketupat tauco serundeng gulai to cheese cakes to macaroons, from roti jala curry to pizza to donuts, from cream soup fried chicken grilled chicken to fusilli alfredo in three... days. My weight is coming back to where it was before the fasting month but oh well my tummy is happy, and I'm happy too.
And how nice it is that Lebaran brings such joys to everyone. When people are happy, they are forgiving and productive.

Happy Eid Mubarak :D

"It's not always rainbows and butterflies, it's compromise that moves us along" - 'She Will Be Loved', Maroon 5

how relevant

'Senam' Under The Rain

 Lapangan Mandala. Tired-yet-still-cheery faces

our theme : Sailor vs Pirates

I'm not gonna post much since tomorrow is already Pra-UN, but whew, this is my first post in 2012 -__-'
Well, January-February I was busy with: 1) Undangan thingy *finger-crossing*, 2) a class-assignment which took a lot more preparation and dedication than I & my XII IPA-E mates initially thought. But I'm not regretting even one second of the weeks preparing that class-assignment, granted, it was one of the best memories of my senior year *emotional sigh*. Here it is, our class' opening performance :D enjoy

So Long, Bloggy

Hell-o jell-o! Sorry for neglecting you for so long, bloggy :-] Well it seems that this would be my last post for the next... umm... I don't know, 5 months probably? 'cause I'm now on  the 12th grade, yeah, friggin' 12th grade x_x things are a little bit out of hand sometimes, I'm not that good at time management :-( just wish that the next time I blog, it'll be happy news.  By the way, I'm at home right now, only because my abdominal typhus is coming back :" But I guess the good side is I can really rest. All this time, my schedule have been hectic. Even though I only attend one tutoring institution or bimbingan belajar. Haha and all this time people always asking "Mir did you attend any other tutoring institution beside BT*, like, Int**? Do you hire a private tutor?" noo, for the record, people, no. Couldn't imagine how beaten-up I'll be if I do. And beside, it's not like I could ask my mom extra money for those 'extras'.
Enough talkin' about school. Lately I'm experimenting with watercolor, which is soooo much harder than oil color. But what I like about it, is that it's far cheaper than painting with oil color on canvas. And, to make it even cheaper, I used regular paper (-_-)v *cheapskate FTW*. I'm much more of a (trying-to-be) realist, but it was a lot of fun doing fantasy stuff since I'm always a fan of fairytales :D

Oh, one more thing before saying goodbye, check this out :

she's my gorgeous second cousin, she's so inspiring :') and she's getting engaged next week. Be sure to check out her blog! so, that was it. Bye for noww

dear mr. ice-cube

You know what?
You're like an ice cube; cold-hearted, hard-headed, and tastes bland.
Me? I'm more of an ice cream. Cold (sometimes), soft-headed, but whenever you make me melt... I'll be sweet to you.

Dear Mr. Ice-Cube, I just can't figure you out.
